Happy Halloween & Contest Winner...

Happy Halloween!
In our family Halloween is all about friendly costumes and the delicious candy. Skittles, M&M's, Reese's... chocolate or fruity, each itty bitty bit size piece provides the perfect balance of treat and sugar rush. There is one thing we are supposed to be on the lookout for... Snickers! They are my hubby's favorite and to keep him from eating them all at once, they spend the next week in the freezer. See, these are all the little things I want to remember when it comes time to scrap this year's Halloween photos.

I am so very thankful to be where we are, to finally be 90% settled and to have my very own craft table in the basement that is prepped and ready to create when the urge hits. To celebrate this simple fact I would like to share some lovely My Little Shoebox treats! I am hosting a contest and starting today, leave me a comment on my blog for a chance to win the ENTIRE collection of Trick or Treat! Then, check in next Monday because another beautiful My Little Shoebox collection will be featured and you guessed it... one lucky commenter will win the entire collection that is being featured! I promise this is all about treats, absolutely no tricks!

Now it is time to announce the lucky scrapper who will be taking home the My Little Shoebox Pretty Little Things collection along with the coordinating Unity Stamp! A winner was chosen at random {courtesy of my 5 year old daughter} from the comments on Friday's post featuring the fabulous Unity Stamp & My Little Shoebox blog hop...

Drumroll please...

My Little Shoebox Blog ... end of the fabulous Blog Hop!!!

I was fortunate to work with the My Little Shoebox Pretty Little Things collection and the darling Unity Stamps to go with it!

So essentially...

= Creative Happiness!!!

The papers are filled with bright colors and darling little designs! There are so many fun ways to create with My Little Shoebox, but when you add the high quality stamps from Unity... well possibilities are endless! This project was inspired by a wonderful piece of advice I received years ago from a wonderful woman who has walked in my shoes {only hers were CHANEL!} Life is crazy and if you live yours out of moving boxes you aren't really living... so BLOOM WHERE YOU PLANT!

so it's been awhile...

Forgive me for not blogging sooner...
Our life was thrown a curve ball the beginning of September...
Now we are living in the beautiful state of Missouri...
The girls are in school...
Hubby is happy at work...
I am still unpacking...
{for the second time in one month}
To say the least there hasn't been much time to create...
But during all the flights/planning/organizing/moving my dear mother found time to create with the girls...

Here are two pictures of their creations!!!

Avery's Student of the Week Poster using Audrey:

Moving Calendar using Trick or Treat and Destinations:
My mom created this calendar to show the girls what was going to happen on which day so that they knew what was going on and where are their toys were going!
Now that we are somewhat settled I hope to break open my boxes of My Little Shoebox and get to creating! Thank you all for your love, patience and prayers!

Creative Cheers!
